There were likely 300+ people at this wedding. I overheard the bride commenting to her mother that there were so many gifts that she was going to leave it up to her mom to open them and write the notes since she and her new husband were leaving the next day for their 1-week honeymoon. Her mother actually was willing! Now it is two months later - during which time the bride was still unemployed… And, still no thank you notes to anyone we know! However this bride recently sent out a mass-impersonal-emailing about her new job and how to contact her if anyone ever needed her services.

P.S. She doesn’t “need” to work - her husband is quite well-off.
