Is bulk mailing still a valid method?

that’s what I did to do extra work but I think I sent out 20 mass mailings and only 3 agency responded, for extra work only.

I want to try print and speaking roles but is mass mailing the best method? I don’t want to pest them but should I even bother doing another mall mailing drop off?

Also I’m using the agency list on SAGs website, Is there another list describing what each agency specialized in? It’s hard to find some info online and some that do have sites just have there logo nothing else.

I want to do a mass mailing (mail my resume headshot(s)) to film/tv agents, but I’m not quite sure how the package should look like. I already went to the SAG website and got a list of agents. Any examples, links, pictures of resumes headshots? Thanks!

And also it says to have a scanned photo, what do they mean that? and how do i get a scanned photo and have my photo scanned? cause wouldn't it still be the same and if you do send in a picture without scanning it can they realise?

I have been instructed by a casting director to send my headshot and resume to her through email. But, I’m not exactly sure how to do this. Do I just put them in the email - so there’d be 2 different attachments? Do I attach my resume directly from Microsoft Word?
