What is the best way or company for cleaning a 100,000+ e-mail mailing list?

Posted by admin | Other - Advertising & Marketing | Monday 12 July 2010 1:26 am

We have an old e-mail mailing list that we acquired when we purchased a new company and want to clean it before we go about sending out a new e-mail marketing campaign. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have now asked a company five times in the past 2 weeks to remove me from their mailing list yet they keep sending me email. Can I sue them and earn a judgment for this continuous act?

had a cheap program but mfgr is out of business, so no support available and honestly I’m not that fond of it. need to maintain customers for mailing list, and vendors for phone book.

ok 2 questions, does mass emailing really work? if my email gets to 2 milion people , do you think a good amount of people will goto my site. i have a clothing website i would like to promote…also does anyone know about mass postal mailing? how much does i cost, and is it worth it?

I’ve been told that my resume is great. I have a BA in Communicatios but can’t find a job?

I am tired of sending my resumes into the internet abyss….I never hear back and I started to take it personally. I met with a CEO of an important Marketing company for some advice and he said my resume was impressive and he said I have an intriguing background.

I feel helpless just emailing my resume and waiting…..I feel like calling places to see if they’re hiring, but I know they’ll only tell me to look on their website. Which leads me back to square one.

What should I do?
I’ve considered renting a billboard saying HIRE ME!!! with my picture and resume on it!……kidding

I’m looking at Marketing/PR/Communications/Media work in the Boston area…if that helps
Experience:
Radio programming/promotions internship
Freelance writing for movie website
Fmr. WDW Cast Member
Political Campaign work

When emailing a press release, should I make everyone’s email address visible or use BCC?

J & J MARKETING COMPANY: Scam?

Posted by admin | Other - Advertising & Marketing | Sunday 4 April 2010 7:30 am

I applied for a job as a mail processor on craigslist, i’ve been emailing the person (or people) and it seems legit but when I ask for a phone number so I could call and get a feel for whether it was a scam or not they said they don’t have the man power to answer everyone’s questions and that the info will be included in my first packet. I don’t know what to think about the whole thing. I guess my question would be does any one know if J & J Marketing out on MN is a legit company? Or has anyone gone thru with this whole process before? Thanks! I’ve included the email I was send below:

Our company would like to offer you a position as an independent mail processor. Congratulations!!!

Please fill out the form below and mail it back to us ASAP along with the shipping & handling charge. You will receive a package in the mail in as little as a week with everything you will need to get started.

To get you started immediately, we must require a 1 time shipping and handling fee of $35. This covers our expenses on getting you started and guarantees that you can work with us as long as you desire. Our unique program pays you by every week and tracks the amount of mail you send out. As much as we would like to get you started without the small fee, we must protect ourselves from people who are not serious and only want to satisfy there curiosity. Of course, no business can provide costly materials to everyone who just wants to see it. This small charge ensures us that you are serious about earning money from home. There is no need to be concerned about this small fee, since it will be refunded to you as soon as you mail your first 100 envelopes (1 batch). Now your shipping costs you nothing, and you will have earned $500. Yes, you heard right, 100 envelopes (1 batch ) = $500.00. You can process up to 3 batches per week. Once again, we need mailers now, and we looking forward to working with you soon. We supply everything you need to get started immediately. This is a real job.

Sincerely,

(Materials on all personal checks submitted will be held for 10 business days for check clearance.)

TO START IMMEDIATELY, FILL OUT THE RELY FORM BELOW AND MAIL TODAY!!
