How do you set a hotmail email as your computers’ default messaging system?

If there is an email address on a web page, for example, every time I click on it, it opens up microsoft outlook, or something similar.

How can I set my computer so that every time I click on an email address, it will bring up my hotmail account, instead of the computers default version?

I have a email address(_______@aim.com) and someone is sending me emails and I want to block them from sending me them, also I want to do this on a gmail and my yahoo email accounts too.

well, when you are instant messaing with someone or emaling them, where is the information sent? is it sent to their computer? or is it sent to a server?

and how is the information sent? is it sent by bits or parallel? or how ?

I’m trying to register for a forum and it is preventing me from doing so, citing that I am on such a list. But I have done no spamming / mass emailing of any kind, so I don’t know why I would be on the list. How do I remove myself so I can participate in said forum?

im pretty clueless on this. i do have ACT!, and i was thinking of adding all the contacts to act, and then possible emailing them from their. i also have outlook, but i can only use if if it lets you use multiple accounts, as i already have a work account using it.

ps. i already have the email addresses, although i dont have them all inputed into my computer : ( and that will take a while.

I want to block email from 1 specific email address? How? I also want a letter to be sent to that person telling them that their email cant be sent. I use gmail.

Currently with OVH in france, they seem cheap and reliable but a few things they won’t allow…. i.e. bulk emailing…

Anywhere else in UK/Europe that is cheap and good for dedicated servers ??? Only need unmanaged..
