For business customers, most banks offer electronic deposit. For personal accounts, none do and none WILL in the foreseeable future.

As the poster above said I’ve only ever heard of this being offered to businesses because the are actually given banking scanners. Basically when you deposit a check it really isn’t in your account. It must go through these scanners and checked by people after wards.

Then it goes into your account.

You can use an ATM deposit as well. These are where you slide your debit card in and it brings up your account info and then I’m guessing an option to deposit is there. You put your check in and it scans it or takes it.

Not all banks offer this and some I’m sure charge a fee for it. Oh, and generally it takes an extra business day to officially get it in your account.
