How do I find someone by email address? (Someone emailing my daughter)?

Someone is anonymously emailing my young daughter, claiming to be a school classmate. All I have is their yahoo email address. How can I find who is doing this?

Is Yahoo, emailing account holders to verify password DOB and phone number got suspicious email from them?

Is Yahoo emailing account holders and asking them to verify their password ,DOB, Phone number , country of origin and account name within 7 days or lose their account? I recieved one of these and it is suspicious, please advise.
