Why are emails I’m sending going to people’s bulk folders?

Posted by admin | Spam & Bulk Mail | Wednesday 30 September 2009 6:44 pm

I recently got a new email account and for some reason when I email people from it it goes to their spam folders…

I tested it by emailing to one of my other accounts and sure enough it was there…why?

How do I get a background image to appear in an html email for Outlook?

Posted by admin | Programming & Design | Wednesday 30 September 2009 1:54 pm

I’ve created a HTML email and the background images don’t appear. Can someone please tell me how to change the below code so that the image will be displayed?

This is going to be an internal email, so I don’t have to worry about any email clients other than Outlook.

Thanks!

How to send email to a list without listing each person individually?

Posted by admin | Address Book & Calendar | Wednesday 30 September 2009 1:26 am

I’ve created three separate work lists and I’d like to send email to each list without having each individual addressee appear in the TO line. I’d like just to see: Group 123, Group 234, and Group 345. All my members have provided their emails to me, I just don’t want 50 emails to show up in the TO line. How can I do this?

Why am I suddenly not getting email from people who I’ve had emails from before?

Posted by admin | Spam & Bulk Mail | Sunday 27 September 2009 3:18 pm

For example, my mum has been emailing me for years but I no longer receive emails from her. I know they’ve been sent. I have no filters set up or blocked addresses, only Yahoo Spam to delete bulk mail straightaway. I am also having this problem with friends who have emailed me many times before, but I am now not getting their emails.

NOTE: Outlook 2007 is way different than 2003

How do I block someone who is emailing me via answers?

Posted by admin | Other - Internet | Sunday 27 September 2009 8:31 am

This guy is so nasty. His pic is a close up of his crotch in a thong. He posts questions that are perverse. Now he has emailed me. I know how to block addresses but when a mail comes through answers it does not give you the users actual address. Is there anyway to block this guy. Here is the email he sent me………
From: Kumar

Subject: you are sexy, I am sending you more ***** pictures. My **** needs you

Oh and I am not the type to report people for every little thing they say or do here…..but I have reported him twice now and I am doing it again.

What is the best way to send email to 1000 people?

Posted by admin | Other - Computers | Saturday 26 September 2009 4:18 pm

I have a list of approximately 1000 email addresses (our neighborhood association members) that I want to send email to. Most of the attempts I have made result in an error of some kind for exceeding some limit.
We tried using Yahoo groups, but many (most?) of the people on the list couldn’t be bothered to set it up properly. I am looking for another option that will let us send out emails infrequently to everyone on the list.
